Damit reiht sie sich ein in die begeisterte Stimmung tausender britischer Reisender, die seit dem ausgehenden 18. Jahrhundert den Rhein erkundeten. Ihre unterschiedlichen Reisegeschichten verbinden sich in dieser Broschüre mit einzelnen Orten zwischen Köln und Mainz und zeichnen ein spannendes und abwechslungsreiches Bild vergangener Reisekultur. Neben prominenten Reisenden wie den britischen Royals sind es vor allem aber auch britische Künstler, die mit ihren Bildern und Gedichten die Rheinlandschaft berühmt machten.Katalog zu den Ausstellungen im Siebengebirgsmuseum der Stadt Königswinter (23.
